We may also collect technical data such as your IP address and browser type through standard website analytics (if enabled), but this data is not linked to your identity.
3. Why We Collect Your Data (Legal Basis)
We collect and process your personal data on the following legal grounds:
- Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): To provide the relocation services you request and to fulfil our obligations to you as a client.
- Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): To contact you in response to your enquiry, prepare your personalised roadmap, and follow up on outstanding matters.
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR): Where you have explicitly agreed to receive marketing communications (you may withdraw this consent at any time).

5. Who We Share Your Data With
In the course of providing relocation services, we may share relevant information with trusted third-party professionals — only with your knowledge and where necessary to deliver the service:
- Portuguese lawyers, notaries and accountants (for visa, legal and tax matters)
- Banking institutions (for bank account opening assistance)
- Insurance companies and international brokers (for insurance arrangement)
- Government bodies — Finanças, AIMA, IMT, SNS (where required by the service)
- Booking and communication tools: Calendly (scheduling), WhatsApp (communication), Netlify (website hosting and form processing)
All third parties we work with are required to handle your data in compliance with applicable data protection law.
6. International Transfers
Some of our service tools (Calendly, Stripe) may process data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where this occurs, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
7. How Long We Keep Your Data
- Enquiries that do not proceed to a service: Deleted after 12 months
- Active client data: Retained for the duration of the engagement and up to 5 years after completion, as required by Portuguese law for financial and professional service records
- Insurance records: Retained for 7 years in compliance with insurance regulation
